I was very disappointed with Alice in Wonderland. I thought it was pretty average. The hype about it’s eccentricity, and how it ‘wasn’t a children’s movie’ was a lie. The most ‘out there’ moment was when the Mad Hatter danced at the end, and that was hardly a thrilling moment of originality. I’m not personally a big fan of Burton, I think he’s a cliché of himself, to be honest. And Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter wasn’t anything new, like always he just played himself.
All in all, a disappointment.
